I've been called naive and too trusting but that comes from the INFP(personality type) in me. We tend to look for the best in everyone. I'm a kind-hearted person with the ability to feel others' emotions. Both the good and the bad. I would say I'm thoughtful, generous, and accepting of people's differences. I am my own worst critic and am always seeking to improve myself. I can be impatient and impulsive but I'm working on it. I am a real redhead and all that encompasses but I've mellowed with age and am nowhere near as hot-tempered as I used to be. I am very fair complected and I burn in seconds so I try to avoid direct sunlight when possible. I prefer being up late at night over early in the morning. I love to cook and am pretty darn good at it however I eat too much junk food and am a sugarholic (which I'm also working on) I'm originally from Bangor, Maine. Educated in New England. I'm a lifelong Atheist with a humanist's heart. I am a former broadcaster and restaurateur. I moved to Florida to care for my Mother who was 84 years old when unfortunately she was killed in an automobile accident shortly after I arrived. This was following the loss of my only son also from a car accident just a few years prior. This has essentially left me alone in the world. I'm a loner by nature and am at peace with myself and my life but I would Like to meet someone to finish out life's journey with. I enjoy a good conversation as well as a lively debate. Educational programming, Reading (non-fiction), and my newest pursuit of gardening which I have found to be very therapeutic. It's also put me in perhaps the best shape of my life. I'm a Myers Briggs personality type INFP which describes me to a T. I share my heart and home with my 8-year-old Havanese named Bumbie whom I positively adore. |
