| Me describiría a mi mismo como | Hi, I'm Kay; I live in Kentucky and I've been dating Christian and Muslim guys (which is what we have around here, mainly)...this is not working out, sooooo here I am! I'm very open minded, and love all people, but I can no longer deal with the family rejection that comes with dating religious men. I'm a university instructor (not a professor)...have started the PhD process but am taking some time to enjoy life after (sadly) ending my 15 year marriage. I regularly travel to Detroit, Chicago, and the Asheville/Knoxville area to see family and friends. I grew up in a very strict Pentecostal family, most of whom have disowned me, but I do have three siblings and a couple of cousins that I am very close with. They are my world <3. Other than that, I keep busy at work, doing lots of linguistic research, working with refugees, and generally trying to save the world ;) My interests include language, gender, class, race, ecology, religion (and lack thereof), and political sciences. If you can converse intelligently in at least one of these areas, I'd love to hear from you! ;) |
